- Most likely you're using an Amiga with Release 1.3 of the Operating
- System. Most of the critiques you mentioned were adressed in Release 2.x
- and 3.0 of AmigaDos. Most modern programs comform to the the guidelines set
- down in those releases and are just as easy to understand and intuitive (if
- not more so) as Windows programs. If you were impressed by 500, you might
- want to see what some of the higher end Amigas can do. The Amiga OS
- squeezes every last bit of performance out of the computer, allowing it
- Amigas to do things that would require many more system resources in
- other systems.
